Last week, the energy at the Trinity Conference Centre in Tauranga was electric as the entire Wash Rite team joined 150 to 180 franchisees from across all four Rite Group brands for the 2025 Rite Group Conference. It was an inspiring, educational, and unifying event that truly showcased the strength, scale, and community spirit of our franchise network.
100% Attendance – A Wash Rite First!
For the first time in Wash Rite history, all 33 New Zealand franchises were represented, with a total of 55 franchisees attending. That’s a 100% turnout — a massive achievement and testament to the commitment and camaraderie within the Wash Rite family. From Invercargill to Whangarei, it was incredible to see the entire country come together under one roof to learn, grow, and celebrate the success of our ever-expanding brand.
Being part of this larger event — alongside Lawn Rite, Handyman Group, and Hallmark Services franchisees — added another layer of excitement. Getting to interact with up to 180 franchisees from the wider Rite Group gave everyone the opportunity to learn from each other, share stories, and see firsthand the power of a multi-brand franchise group.
Learning From the Best – Training & Supplier Sessions
A key highlight of the conference was the line-up of high-quality training sessions, with contributions from some of our most trusted industry partners and suppliers. Wash Rite franchisees had the chance to attend practical and hands-on sessions run by:
BE Pressure – Our go-to supplier for high-performance pressure washers and accessories. Their team provided in-depth product knowledge and gave demonstrations on machine maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety.
Stihl – Experts from Stihl delivered sessions focused on tool care, battery-powered equipment, and efficiency tips to help our teams perform better and safer in the field.
Proquip – As one of the leading equipment providers in New Zealand, Proquip’s training around floor and surface cleaning technologies was especially valuable for franchisees looking to expand their commercial capabilities.
These sessions weren’t just informative – they were interactive, allowing our teams to ask questions, test gear, and gain insights directly from industry leaders. The knowledge gained will absolutely help us deliver even better results for our customers.
A Chance to Connect and Celebrate
Beyond the learning and supplier showcases, the 2025 Rite Group Conference gave the Wash Rite team the chance to connect on a personal level. From breakout sessions and business strategy discussions to casual catch-ups over coffee or dinner, the atmosphere was one of positivity, encouragement, and shared ambition.
The networking between brands was especially powerful. Wash Rite franchisees had the chance to chat with franchisees from Lawn Rite and Handyman Group who often serve the same residential and commercial customers — sparking discussions around joint marketing, bundled services, and regional collaboration.
